The Award Framework
The award is comprised of two phases. Participants can compete individually and go through each phase in order to receive the award.
Phase One
The students are to register with details and submit a softcopy of their thesis sheets along with an authentication letter from the college in our online portal. A jury of esteemed architects will prepare a shortlist of selected best entries.
Phase Two
The shortlisted participants are to submit their sheet as hard copy along with physical model and 3d walkthrough for the Phase 2 evaluation in a public forum before the deadline. The winners will be awarded.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERION
- KATHA is open to all young graduates and postgraduates from colleges affiliated to the following six universities:
a. Calicut University
b. APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University
c. Mahatma Gandhi University
d. Kerala University
e. NIT Calicut
f. Cochin University of Science and Technology - Students are required to pass their final thesis jury in the academic year 2024-25 only to participate in KATHA 2025.
- Only individual submissions are permitted.
- There is no limit on the number of entries from a particular college. We appreciate maximum participation.
- The work submitted should be original. Any case of plagiarism will result in immediate disqualification.
